2006 GRIFFITH REVIEW COVER

In 2006, I was invited to contribute an autobiographical essay
to a special edition of the Griffith Review, published by
Queensland's Griffith University and edited by Julianne Schultz,
focussing on a younger generation of Australian writers, artists,
and thinkers. I offered to come up with a cover but not being a
graphic designer, I went about it as an artist, using material
found around my Sydney studio. After the edition was released,
the cover was quickly copied, almost exactly, by a couple of other
publications in the USA and Europe – a compliment, I guess.
